In order to ensure the most enjoyable visit for everyone, reservations are required for all visitors from 1 July to 31 August 2026, except the following (upon presentation of valid proof):
Members of the Société des Amis du Louvre (cardholder only; all accompanying persons must make a reservation, except on Wednesdays and Fridays late-night openings).
CLEF CLEF+ members (cardholder only; all accompanying persons must make a reservation).
Patrons of the Louvre (with an accompanying person, without reservation)
Members of American Friends of the Louvre (with an accompanying person, without reservation).
Disabled visitors (with an accompanying person, without reservation).
Certified tour guides from the French Ministries of Culture and Tourism or the French National Museum Alliance (Réunion des Musées Nationaux).
ICOM members.
Affiliates of the Maison des Artistes and graphic, visual or photographic artists with artiste-auteur status according to article L.382-1 of the French Social Security code.
Students of the École du Louvre.
Visitors with Laissez-Passer (free admission) tickets.
Journalists and Members of the International Association of Art Critics (AICA).
